5 Weeks Landscape Course using Watercolours with Amanda Caldwell

This short course, taught over five weeks, is suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience of painting with watercolours.

Local artist Amanda Caldwell will guide you step by step on how to complete a series of simple watercolour paintings.

In week one Amanda will offer advice on the rules of composition and you will also complete a series of colour mixing exercises, so you will soon be mixing your own watercolours with confidence!

In week two, Amanda will show you how to paint a simple sea scape.

In week three you will learn to paint a simple landscape of Glaslyn Nature Reserve using scraping tools.

In week four you will learn how to paint a landscape of Hafren Forest and practice painting trees.

In the final week you will continue to develop your painting skills and paint a Landscape with a Welsh cottage.

Please bring your own Sketch book and any Art materials if you already have any, but watercolour materials will be provided for the class.

Just bring an apron as watercolour can mark clothing.
