Tangled and Twining -Painting Flower Seed Heads

Saturday 3rd October, 2026

You will learn how to sketch and paint dried poppy seed heads and teasels.

You will add watercolour washes and background effects allowing you to complete a finished painting.

This class is suitable for beginners and those with previous experience of painting with watercolours.

  • Learners are encouraged to bring their own art materials, including a small sketch book.
  • Watercolour paints, paper and brushes will be provided if necessary.
  • Cold pressed Watercolour paper will be provided.

    Since 2019 Gregynog has been run by a charitable Trust. Our vision is to be Wales’ most welcoming home for nature and the arts. We have a huge amount of work to do to restore our Grade 1 listed gardens and repair the Grade 2 star listed hall. Our grounds are open to everyone, every day and we are run a varied programme of events from Fairy and Halloween Trails to classical concerts in our Music Room.
