In this class you will explore painting

Monday 28 September – You will learn colour theory and practice, allowing us to sketch and paint autumn leaves and /or berries

Monday 5 October – You will continue practice whilst exploring background textural effects.

Monday 12 October – Using the skills learnt from our previous sessions, you will paint your final autumnal compositions

This class is suitable for beginners and those with previous experience of painting with watercolours.

  • Learners are encouraged to bring their own art materials, including a small sketch book
  • Watercolour paints, paper and brushes can be provided if necessary
  • Cold pressed Watercolour paper will be provided in the last session
  • Learners will be provided with a list of art materials needed to complete the course

Cost – £80 including a hot drink and car parking

    Since 2019 Gregynog has been run by a charitable Trust. Our vision is to be Wales’ most welcoming home for nature and the arts. We have a huge amount of work to do to restore our Grade 1 listed gardens and repair the Grade 2 star listed hall. Our grounds are open to everyone, every day and we are run a varied programme of events from Fairy and Halloween Trails to classical concerts in our Music Room.
