Phil’s Parkinsons’ Fun Run

Wednesday 20th March, 2024

We’re joining former head teacher Phil Jones and Ysgol Rhiw Bechan to support Phil Parkinsons’ fundraiser where he will run 10k every day for a week ending with the Welshpool 10k on 24 March 2024!

On the morning of Wednesday 20 March children from Ysgol Rhiw Bechan will be joining Phil in a series of sponsored 2k runs at Gregynog Hall. You can join in too – and support Phil’s fundraising for Parkinsons’ by joining in our 2k fun trail wood through the Great Wood at Gregynog starting at 2pm.

We will put sponsor forms on our website and Parkinsons’ UK will be with us on the day to collect donations. Whether you are running , jogging or walking it is a great way to support Phil and explore our amazing woodland.

    Since 2019 Gregynog has been run by a charitable Trust. Our vision is to be Wales’ most welcoming home for nature and the arts. We have a huge amount of work to do to restore our Grade 1 listed gardens and repair the Grade 2 star listed hall. Our grounds are open to everyone, every day and we are run a varied programme of events from Fairy and Halloween Trails to classical concerts in our Music Room.

    We urgently need support both from volunteers and donations and every little helps so whatever you can do to support Gregynog please do get in touch.
