PYFA – Finale Concert

Join us for the grand closing concert of the Pererinion Ysbrydol Festival Academy — a joyful celebration of collaboration, community, and exceptional music-making.

The evening opens with Grieg’s elegant Holberg Suite, a sparkling homage to Baroque dance forms. This is followed by Elgar’s stirring Introduction and Allegro, a masterful showcase of lush
string textures.

Next, enjoy Fauré’s charming Dolly Suite, performed by our talented pianists, capturing the warmth and intimacy of this beloved work

After the interval, the concert concludes with the passion and brilliance of Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence, a thrilling and emotionally charged work full of sweeping melodies and energetic
rhythms — a fitting finale to an unforgettable week.

    Since 2019 Gregynog has been run by a charitable Trust. Our vision is to be Wales’ most welcoming home for nature and the arts. We have a huge amount of work to do to restore our Grade 1 listed gardens and repair the Grade 2 star listed hall. Our grounds are open to everyone, every day and we are run a varied programme of events from Fairy and Halloween Trails to classical concerts in our Music Room.

    We urgently need support both from volunteers and donations and every little helps so whatever you can do to support Gregynog please do get in touch.
